Gateway District is proud to welcome Judimar Pesante as our new Executive Director.
Our district, which spans the vibrant Semoran corridor, is full of a diverse range of businesses and restaurants, and this requires enthusiastic leadership, with a deep understanding of community needs, business development, and the drive toward a more prosperous future. Judimar, who has been part of the Gateway District board for three and a half years, began her journey when it was still the Semoran Business Partnership. Born in Puerto Rico, Judimar dedicated her life to communications and marketing, starting with radio programs at the age of 19. Here in Orlando, she has continuously broadcast the show Cuenta Conmigo Radio Show with Judimar for 11 and a half years on the Q Broadcasting network, a program dedicated to providing the best tools for a good quality of life. Additionally, she founded the nonprofit My Community Access, channeling support so that people could obtain state and local benefits, guiding them to government resources, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector, ensuring that each person had the tools to apply for the help they needed. With a generous heart and a fighting spirit, Judimar has been a key figure in our community, and we are confident that her passion will take Gateway District to the next level.
