Happy Sunday and Happy March, friends! This will be a long post, so please be patient with me.
I know I have been rather silent for a while, and I won't lie, I did have a bit of a pity party over everything that was going on. Not just the letter, but health stuff and this hit and run wreck, where "supposedly" they can't find the guy that hit me and things have been just a bit too much. I also think knowing that we are approaching year five without my son and coming up on the one year anniversary of my dad's passing...let's just say 2026 did not start off well AT ALL. š
However, I gave myself through February to be mad, sad, confused, really, whatever emotion I was feeling at the moment, and told myself that March 1, I need to get myself back on some kind of track. Not saying it's going to be easy and not saying it will all fall into place immediately, because nothing worth fighting for ever is easy or goes as planned, but I am sticking to the promise I made to myself.
Many of you have been so kind and reached out via messenger, text and email to just share words of kindness, encouragement, and so much more. I can't thank you enough for that. You have also asked what you can do to help and to be honest, I don't know. lol
There is so much that I can't do now, that I have been trying to figure out what I can do.
Before the pandemic and shut down hit us all, I was making quite a few "inspired by characters" kind of things, particularly jewelry and some art pieces. I really like making jewelry and I also really like looking at things differently, kind of like I did with the pom poms that then became "fireworks" when decorating. I have started using my imagination again, well, maybe more, because I donāt think I ever really stopped using it, and doing some different things. I made a necklace for Dapper Day...then realizing I probably would not be going this year because I will be disembarking from the Treasure that weekend and it might be a bit too much. lol I'll share what I made below, however.
I made a Peeps door for my own door at home to decorate for Easter. Contrary to popular belief, not everything I do revolves around the mouse. lol
I am also a bit of a whimsy kind of girl. I love stars. I love rainbows. I love unicorns. I love pastel colors. I love things that are a bit out of the ordinary. I also started a group called Enchanted Dreams Resale over a year ago where I post things that I no longer use, wear, etc. that do have to do with the mouse. I will share that here, in case anyone is interested.

So, for the moment, I think I am just going to do things that strike my fancy and also go back to some of the things I started on 6 years ago. Also, whatever things people may ask me about if I can do.
Basically, the pivot might take a hot minute, but a rebuilding, rebranding is generally never an overnight kind of thing anyway.
Iām excited, but also nervous, but I think more excited. I had to scrub my social media, so itās going to take a minute to get things back. As far as decorating, tree rentals, etc., we are looking at self decorating kits, like we have had since we started, but they will ship to your home. Just trying to get things figured out.
This week, I will post a list of what we will begin offering again and how it will look.
I appreciate the support of everyone for not only our small business, but for the many other small businesses that have also been affected. It means more than you know.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
Hereās to moving forward and moving up.
Oh, and here are a few of the things that I have made. š
