Impressionist Art by Aneela Fazal Portland Artist, Teacher, Entrepreneur An award winning international contemporary artist from Portland Oregon.

All her paintings are about experiences, love, joy and sorrow. Each painting starts with a feeling, an experience, the subjects are imperfect and raw, abstract and modern, yet always reflect a sense of joy. Looking at her paintings takes you to a blissful place, and the viewer is able to connect to the art in ways that comforts them. Just like a writer says it with words, Aneela paints her feelings and emotions onto the canvas. The vibrant colors and textures are captivating, the stories behind each piece inspiring. Over the years Aneela has developed her own techniques and her style of painting is constantly evolving. She finds great joy in experimenting with different mediums and says “the trick is being able to retain your own style throughout the medium or technique changes, for me I'd say I want people to feel a sense of comfort looking at my pieces, and if I am able to achieve that then I've done what I intended to, to spread a little happiness”

Walking through Art Miami felt like stepping into a time capsule.

In 2012, my art was chosen to be showcased here, 2013 was a year with most number of shows in Florence, New York, Bologna and Barcelona, an angel was indeed watching over me from the heavens above. Since then, several New York art expos, and shows all around the world, now coming back here as a visitor hits differently.

There’s something grounding about returning to a place that once held your dreams and realizing how much you’ve grown, shifted, and expanded as an artist. The colors feel brighter, the stories feel richer, and the inspiration feels… familiar in the best way ❤️

This large 14x18 resin and alcohol ink tray is layered with beautiful emerald greens, teal tones, mustard gold, and burnt orange, all sealed under a crystal-clear high-gloss food safe resin finish. I added coral-toned beaded
accents for extra shimmer, and it absolutely glows under warm holiday lights ✨
