Every single day, our parent company, the Oroville Resource Center and Rescue Mission, acts as a beacon of hope and healing for our community's most vulnerable individuals. ✨
What started over half a century ago as a humble soup kitchen has grown into a life-saving network providing emergency shelter, three warm meals a day, and a clean, safe space to heal. But they do so much more than meet basic needs. Through their New Life Recovery Program and person-centered housing plans, the ORC is genuinely ending homelessness one person and one family at a time. They prove that with dignity, respect, and the right support, long-term transformation is possible.

We sorry to see the Salvation Army Store in Oroville is closed. They were a teammate of ours. Bird Street Thrift is open for donations and clothing purchases just like Salvation Army was. Bird Street Thrift products and prices are similar to the Salvation Army, as well as our humanitarian causes for the betterment of those less fortunate.
