Hi, it's me, Oliver!
And, yes, I'm an alpaca!

Yesterday, I got so excited about the Wayne County Ohio Farm Tour in October that I forgot to tell you about the wedding we had at Skylar Brook Farm Weddings and Events last weekend.

It is often said that rain on a wedding day is good luck.

If that is true, then the wedding of the new Mr. and Mrs. Mueur was sprinkled with blessings!

We quickly moved the outdoor wedding indoors, and it turned out beautifully! And the send off at end of the evening was magical!

We were so happy to be a part of this couple's "fresh as the rain" beginning as husband and wife!

Good Morning!
It's me, Oliver!
And, yes, I'm an alpaca!

Today's cooler temperature is a reminder that the crispness of Fall will soon be in the air!

I love when Autumn arrives!
So must our two-legged members of the SBF team because they've swapped out the summer petunias in the old farm wagon and replaced them with mini chrysanthemums!

Skylar Brook Farm is a beautiful piece of Wayne County, Ohio countryside.

It's just right for strolling...except when you need to use a mobility device across the stones to get from the pavilion to the bathroom.

Not any more!
And, our new sidewalk wraps around to our handicap parking area!

And, for all the ladies who cry "SOS" ("Save Our Shoes"), you can now promenade in your pumps, strut in your stillettos, walk in your wedges, perambulate in your platforms, bounce in your booties, sashay in your slingbacks, traipse in your tennies, amble in your ankle boots, sneak out in your slippers, foot it in your flats, saunter in your sandals, or canter in your cowboy boots without a scuff mark, broken heel, or twisted ankle!

Think of the money we are saving you on shoe repairs!

Yesterday, Skylar Brook Farm had the pleasure of hosting a youth group from OHuddle Inc.

OHuddle Inc. is a non-profit organization in Wayne County, Ohio, whose mission is "to awaken youth to their unique value through mentorship and relationships.

Our young visitors fed carrots to our alpacas, fished in our lake, and enjoyed our beautiful piece of Wayne County.

They brought their own hotdogs and roasted them on our campfire. They made s'mores, too!

Everyone was so polite and so appreciative. We loved sharing Skylar Brook Farm with them!
