We ran some numbers through our software last night - including our TNR efforts - FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE ANIMALS have come through our rescue since January. 425!!!! Almost 250 of those were transferred to our larger rescue partners because we do not have the adoptions out here to stay ahead of the numbers needing our help. That also means that for those 250, we didn’t make a penny on adoption fees. But we are able to do this because of YOU - our supporters and donors. As we enter into the final two months of 2022 (how is that possible) - please keep BSCAR in mind for year end donations. Kittens in photo not available. Also - we have some items on our wish list AGAIN - kitten formula has become harder to come by so we want to have it on hand and we want EVERY dog that leaves BSCAR - to their adoptive home or on transport - to leave in a NO SLIP martingale collar. So we have added these. The worst is having a scared rescue pup slip a collar and take off - we hope by doing this, we can prevent it from ever happening!
