Happy July! We are busy here with the summer shop hop. As I have had several people call and ask - Here are our hours for the 4th of July weekend.

Thursday - 9:30 - 5:00
Friday - 9:30 - 5:00
Saturday - Closed

The Tri-State Shop Hop has officially begun. Cathy from Hands on Design will be here on Saturday, June 6th from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm and will be bringing a trunk show with her with some of her models and patterns including her new designs. Stop in to say “hi”, ask questions, visit and grab our part of the free design for the shop hop.

FYI You will be able to purchase the complete chart of Red White & Blue from our website in September when the shop hop is over.

June 1st is right around the corner and then the Tri-State Shop Hop starts. We did our model a little bit different. We chose Vintage Country Mocha for our fabric, used the called for threads and then framed it with a vintage white frame. It's always fun to see projects finished in different ways.

Remember that Cathy from Hands on Design will be in the shop next Saturday morning.

Here's a few more finishes from this week. I really enjoyed stitching the Greatest of These series. Also got the binding finished on another quilt. I had three quilts that were just waiting for binding and now two are done. YAY!!

It's almost time for the 3rd Annual Tri-State Shop Hop to commence. Visit Welcome Stitchery in Blue Earth, MN and Shanty Stitches in Beresford, SD and the Stitchery Nook, right here in Osage, IA anytime from June 1 - August 31 to receive Red, White, Blue from Hands on Design. Cathy designed this patriotic pattern exclusive to our three shops. She will be visiting each store and will be at the Stitchery Nook on Saturday, June 6th from 10:30-1:00 pm so stop in to chat with her. You will receive one third of the pattern at each shop for free. We can't wait to see you this summer!

Wanted to share some of my latest finishes. Retirement is agreeing with me. I’m getting a lot of stitching and quilting done. I sent the first three to the store with Liz yesterday and the tart pans will go there on Saturday. Plus I had to show off a quilt.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our 1st Stitchy Days Retreat in April. We had a great group of ladies who enjoyed 2 days of stitching and socializing. Stitching journals/junk journals and fob/zipper pulls were fun projects that were enjoyed by all. We will be having a special designer next year. Theresa Venette from Shakespeare's Peddler will be joining us in August 2027. More information to follow.

The April Stitchy Days event is just a few days away. We can't wait to welcome those who have signed up to attend.

Elizabeth and I made a Sam's Club trip to Rochester on Friday and got to talking about the upcoming event. Neither one of us had thought of this earlier. I have been making fun fabric project bags for a while and as we were driving, I looked up fabric that had frog designs on it because of the theme of the event. There were some really cute designs and I was able to find 3 fun designs close to home, so I started sewing. Here are pictures of the ones that I completed today. I will bring as many as I get done but will also make additional ones to fill any requests. If you are interested in putting your name on the list, please let me know this information.

C - Frogs on lily pads with blue water background

3. $28 per bag - no tax if purchased at the CRC Event Center on
