In this video, I break down how to harmonize a D major scale and explore all the chords that naturally occur within the key. Using triads, I loop a D chord as a pedal tone and play the other chords against it, creating some unique and interesting harmonic textures.

This approach is a great way to hear how different chords interact with a static bass note, opening up new possibilities for songwriting, improvisation, and arranging. Check it out, and let me know what you think!
