Second Chances

Second Chances Second Chances is a free furniture and clothing shop that runs on the generosity of our community. We are a part of the nonprofit, Bridge to Hope. Oswego, NY.

Our current hours are Tuesday to Friday from 1-3 PM, located at 51 E Oneida St. Second Chances Furniture & Clothing is an extension of the ministry, Bridge to Hope. Wade Smith started Bridge to Hope because he felt a call and desire to help men experiencing homelessness find housing, employment, purpose, and value. As Wade continued to grow the ministry, he saw an additional need to serve families

locally. Seconds Chances is a free shop for clothing and furniture, open to anyone in need of resources to help them stabilize and move forward. This is another way for program participants and community volunteers to give back, share what they have and build relationships. Second Chances is not only meeting the physical needs of folks, but is passionate about fostering relationships and bringing hope to one person at a time. PLEASE SHARE! We are going on "vacation"! ❤🌻

It's been a busy summer for us and we all are taking a break to regroup! We will be CLOSED Tuesday August 17th to Friday August 21st! We will reopen on Tuesday August 25th!

A special treat?! We will have back to school supplies out the week of August 25th!! First come, first serve- so please stop by to see what we have!! Contact Sarah Melita for more details.

Just a reminder- we will be closed today for Harborfest! East Park will be full of festivities and fun, so we will be CLOSED on FRIDAY JULY 24TH!

We are SO excited to welcome back clothing donations!! We ask that you PLEASE be patient with us as we sort through these new, incoming items! We also ask that you please respect our drop-off hours, as we have had many items become ruined overnight sitting outside in the elements!! We are unable to accept donations outside of these hours at this time.

We have a high need for Men's Clothing if you have anything new or gently used lying around that needs a new home!

Our volunteer crew has been working hard through many donations and a deep cleaning of our store (and TWO floods!!), so we are closing this week! Thank you for your understanding:)

As a way to commemorate the month of the floods and the end of school, us volunteers trickled out to Fruit Valley Orchard & Greenhouses to celebrate with a fun bbq!

What started as a seed of an idea to bless few has turned into a tree of fruit & blessings on blessings for many in our community! This store is about more than just clothing… it’s about community & relationship! We love what we do!
