Second Chances

Second Chances Second Chances is a free furniture and clothing shop that runs on the generosity of our community. We are a part of the nonprofit, Bridge to Hope. Oswego, NY.

Our current hours are Tuesday to Friday from 1-3 PM, located at 51 E Oneida St. Second Chances Furniture & Clothing is an extension of the ministry, Bridge to Hope. Wade Smith started Bridge to Hope because he felt a call and desire to help men experiencing homelessness find housing, employment, purpose, and value. As Wade continued to grow the ministry, he saw an additional need to serve families

locally. Seconds Chances is a free shop for clothing and furniture, open to anyone in need of resources to help them stabilize and move forward. This is another way for program participants and community volunteers to give back, share what they have and build relationships. Second Chances is not only meeting the physical needs of folks, but is passionate about fostering relationships and bringing hope to one person at a time. All hands on deck for the first flood of the season!! Thank you SO much to our understanding shoppers as we closed up early! We spent an hour tidying and cleaning and we’ll be back to finish up tomorrow. We also ended the day with an impromptu pizza birthday party for our sweet volunteer, April!

We hope to see you tomorrow in a hopefully dry shop:)

Did you know we deliver furniture from our shop?! For a small fee (that goes towards our rent), we will deliver to addresses in Oswego, Fulton, and some parts of Hannibal!

This piece was delivered today to a friend of ours who just got their own place!!
