One more ingredient is moving closer to home. 🍎
We’ve made apple vinegar at home before, but only in smaller amounts for our own household. We never had enough apples to produce the larger batches needed for the soapery, so the apple c***r vinegar used in our Balance Bar had to be purchased.
This year, we’re fortunate to have access to enough apples to begin making it on a much larger scale.
Apples, cane sugar, water and time will slowly become homemade apple vinegar that can eventually take the place of another store-bought ingredient in our soap-making process.
Our Balance Bar also known around here as our “girly bar” is handcrafted with goat milk yogurt and apple c***r vinegar for a creamy, gentle external cleanse.
This is what growth looks like for us not changing everything at once, but slowly finding ways to make more of the ingredients we use ourselves. One jar, one harvest and one product at a time.
