Stachowicz, originally from Poland where chocolate making has a rich tradition, worked in America as a chocolatier at Nestlé. Drawing from his passion for candy making and his cultural roots, he developed many new techniques and delectable tastes, which he and Marg would ultimately bring to their new shop, Stone's Candy at 145 West Bridge St., Oswego, NY.

Stone's Candies was relocated to 23 West Seneca St, Oswego, an 1860's-era building with a classic vibe and a prime location. The new shop, centered between downtown Oswego, Lake Ontario, the Oswego River, and the historical Franklin Square District, offers a walk-up window and outdoor patios to enjoy Stone's Candies homemade custard and ice cream all summer long, and other great favorites year round including our sponge candy, peanut brittle, caramel corn, turtles, creams, and many molded chocolates for all occasions. Where's the Ice Cream? It's at Stone's!

Everyone in Oswego, NY remembers Stone's original ice cream cone sign. After the move, our loyal customers and friends asked, "Where's the famous Ice Cream Cone?" Our very own Jeff "The Chief" McCrobie - a man of many talents, including woodworking and painting - said, "I just had to make our customers happy!" And so he did and the sign made the move complete. For more than 40 years, Stone's Candies has been making treats that make people happy, and now that tradition continues today!
