We are enrolling for our next month of Open heARTS: Art Preschool program now for ages 2.5-5 years old. With the signup of at least two classes, each session is just $17 and this month we are adding a sibling discount of $5 off per session.

Our first class this month starts NEXT Wednesday, Oct. 7th. Our program builds creative confidence through art, stories, movement, and hands-on creative exploration while encouraging curiosity, skill development, and self-expression. Come join us, bring your kids and let's get creative!

We are excited to expand our Preschool Music Program in October and hope you will join us! We are adding a second class for 6 months-3 years in addition to our 3-5 yr old class.

Our program builds creative confidence and a love of music through singing, rhythm, movement, instruments, and play while encouraging curiosity, self-expression, early development, and connection. Miss Katie is FANTASTIC with the kids and the best part, they are learning while having fun.

Happy Fall Ya'll! We have a jam-packed OCTOBER made just for YOU and we hope you will join us for one or more Art classes this month.

We have a NEW Preschool Art teacher this month and you are going to lover her. Lily is excited to carry on what Ky started and signups are LIVE on the website and FB events.

We've expanded our Music Preschool classes to include 6 months-3 years PLUS our 3-5 yr olds. The 6 month-3 yr old class will be just 30 minutes long from 10:30-11 and our 3-5 yr old class is from 11-12 every Thursday morning. *First 4 Thursdays of the month. Signups are LIVE for this as well.

We have THREE NEW classes this month that you won't want to miss! The first one is called Japanese Kinusaiga (Fabric Art) that we think you are going to love it! It is relaxing, satisfying, and oh so fun! BYO Drinks and your friends to this class for a real treat!

The second NEW class is Paper Marbling by our friend and paper maker . Evan will be teaching us the art of paint marbling some of his homemade paper just in time for holiday cards / gift time.

The third NEW class is our DIY Halloween Potion Bottle class. This spooktacular class will walk you thru tried and true techniques to create the PERFECT Halloween potion bottle decorations. They are THE COOLEST thing you have ever seen and you will leave with 1 large potion bottle or 2 smaller bottles. And the best part? We are offering this class TWICE this month!

We also have: Mosaic Pumpkin workshops, STEM Kid's classes, Paint & Popcorn nights, a Pumpkin Palooza with drop-in pumpkin themed crafts, and Lunch-In Art Sessions with mini art projects that are perfect do do during lunch time. We have another Paint your own pet portrait class, hand-poured fall candles class, DIY Duct Tape Rose Pens, Flower Pounding Tea Towels, a NEW Stacked Pumpkin Porch sign painting class, and last but not least ANOTHER Glass Marble Making class for Beginners!

It's a FULL month of art classes, creativity, and life-long memories! While the rest of the world is full steam ahead on racing thru all the seasons and holidays as fast as it can, we are leaning in to fall and focusing on the opportunities to make memories with our friends and loved ones. We are excited to be a part of the Ottawa Kansas Area Chamber of Commerce's Ladies Night Out event happening from 1-7pm TODAY! We will be giving away TWO $25 gift cards that can be used in our store for handmade items or for any of our art classes.

There are a couple ways to earn multiple entries into our drawing just by liking and sharing our FB page. We will have goodies and refreshments all day so stop by and see what new things we have in store.

I didn’t get many photos but we had a great Live Music Art Jam tonight! 🩵 We surprised our friend Annie with an early birthday party and fed most of the people in attendance. We had pizza, veggies, watermelon, dark chocolate brownies, drinks, and lots of fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!

I LOVE how every week is different and we are finding our groove with a steady group of artists and musicians who show up EVERY WEEK to socialize, get creative and meet new people. It’s very therapeutic and you just never know what kind of projects someone will be working on. It’s sort of a small maker space each week as everyone creates and builds.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit lately, EVERYONE is welcome to join us. Bring your own project, buy an art kit off our shelf or just relax and enjoy the music. 204 S Main, Ottawa, KS.
