Once upon a time, a fur pelt could help you get the supplies you needed. Just imagine walking into a store and paying with beaver pelts…👀

Sounds strange now, but furs were once valuable trade goods across North America. Indigenous nations had trade networks long before European traders arrived. As demand for furs grew, pelts were exchanged for goods such as tools, blankets, and other supplies.

Although we do consider trades, we’ve stream-lined the process to a simple card swipe 💳 😉

🫎 GIVE YOUR DOG A MOOSE TO CHEW ON. 🐕😂

Okay… part of a moose.

A lot of yall have been waiting on more moose dog chews and now they are back in stock!

Choose your weapon:

🦴 SPLIT — Cut lengthwise to expose the porous inner antler. Easier access and a great choice for dogs who like a little more immediate gratification.

🦴 WHOLE — The heavy-duty option. More antler to work through and generally better suited for those dogs who can turn a normal chew into a crime scene in approximately 11 minutes.

Why antler chews?

• Naturally shed antler — no plastic, rawhide, artificial flavors or weird mystery ingredients
• Long-lasting and much less messy than many traditional chews
• Chewing provides mental stimulation and gives bored mouths something productive to do
• The gnawing action can help scrape buildup from teeth
• Antler naturally contains minerals including calcium and phosphorus
• And perhaps most importantly… they don’t turn into a slimy, stinky science experiment on your carpet for you to find with your foot 😂

And we don’t just chop these up and toss them in a bin.

Every piece is cut and then the cut edges are carefully smoothed down so there aren’t sharp, freshly sawn edges. It’s one of those little details that takes extra time, but when something is going in your dog’s mouth, we think the details matter. ❤️

Not only good for them…chewing tires them out.

☀️🏖️ We’re Hitting the Road! 🌊

Just a quick heads-up! The Antler Guys Mercantile Company will be closed July 16th through July 29th while our family takes a much-needed vacation. We’ll be back and ready to see you on July 30th!

One of the joys of being a family-run business is that we get to pour our hearts into this store every day. The downside? When the family leaves… the whole operation leaves too! 😅

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be trading antlers for sandy beaches, store shelves for suitcases, and making our way to North Carolina to spend time with family, catch up with friends, and soak up a little saltwater and sunshine. 🏖️🌴

We know closing for two weeks isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. Your loyalty means the world to us, and it’s because of amazing customers like you that we’re able to step away every now and then to make memories with the people who matter most.

Thank you for supporting our family’s dream and understanding that sometimes the best investment is time spent together. ❤️
