Starting Sept. 8, Box Cañon Falls will be open 9 AM–5 PM daily. While the seasons are changing, the falls are still running with full force!

Come experience this aquatic wonder for yourself and take in the incredible power of the water rushing through the canyon.

Members: 10 AM–8 PM
Non-members: 11 AM–8 PM

Whether you’re looking to start your day with a soak or wind down after a day in the mountains, we’ll be here until 8 PM. Come and soak up the best of fall in Ouray!

Join us 🇺🇸

This September 11, Ouray Volunteer Fire Department invites our community to join us in remembrance. 🇺🇸

Together, we will walk approximately 2,200 steps, symbolizing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, as we honor the lives lost and the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Take a walk back in time. Visit featured locations of Historic downtown Ouray guided by a local historian. Locations include a guided walking tour of the Beaumont hotel, the "True Grit" courthouse, St. John's church, and the Wright Building.
Join us on September 12th, 2026 as we mark the 139th anniversary of the tragic events that defined the lives and deaths of the murders of Ellar Day and Joseph W. Dixon in 1887.
This special event invites you to step back in time and explore the haunting history behind Marcy S. Wood’s novel, The Notorious Murder of Ellar Day.
