All cups come in raw brass but can be special ordered in silver or gold.

1789 cups: elegant V in a variety of sizes and bores
1949 cups: based on vintage block-letter Farkas
1979 cups: based on vintage Schilke
Orval: bowl-shaped

Rims: silver plated but can be special ordered in gold

For best fit, pair cups and rims of the same letter (Orval 5 pairs with A, 6 with B, and 7 with C).

We designed these reverse peak rims with LA freelancer and teacher Allen Fogle. Available in 17.25, 17.50, and 17.75mm, these rims are comfortable and flexible. Silver plated, Giardinelli threads. Made in the USA.

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼/𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲?

We worked with Lisa Bontrager to develop the Legacy LB ⭐️, a unique tenor/alto horn mouthpiece specifically for French horn players. Lisa taught horn at Penn State and has played with the Brass Band of Battle Creek for over 25 years.

Lisa says: “I am so excited to share this mouthpiece designed for French hornists who play with brass bands. A hybrid for the tenor/alto horn provides incredible flexibility throughout the range WITH a characteristic sound. Best I’ve ever tried!!! Highly recommended!!”

The mate point of the Legacy LB ⭐️ is compatible with any Legacy ⭐️ or L’Olifant B rim.

New artist collaboration this past fall: cups and a rim designed with Richard Todd! 📯

Currently serving as Associate Professor of Horn at the University of Miami, Rick has had an incredibly varied career. He is especially well known for his broad experience as a studio musician in LA, and in the jazz world.

MH⭐️ cups are 10 bore and are compatible with all Legacy ⭐️ and L'Olifant B rims. MH⭐️1 has a medium-deep cup and MH⭐️2 has a deep cup.

RIMS: The facing is semi-round and very comfortable, great for players with demanding workloads. MH comes in 17.5 and 17.75mm, MH⭐️ comes in 17.5, 17.75, 18, and 18.25mm.

📯 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗻𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗴𝗼-𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲! 📯

The PF/RG cups and rims pay homage to Randy Gardner's teacher, Philip Farkas. The cups have an 8 bore; PF/RG 1 has a medium cup and PF/RG 2 has a medium-deep cup. Despite having a deeper cup, PF/RG 2 is more suited to the high range.

The PF/RG rim has a rounded contour and comes in 17, 17.25, and 17.50 inner diameters.
