The King of Pentacles in reverse is a warning, friends. He cautions you not to be so conservative that you don't allow for enjoyment in your life. At the same time, though, he also cautions not to go crazy with the spending - make sure you're taking care of the things that you need to, and put a little back for that rainy day. It doesn't take much for a little enjoyment. Maybe it's a special dinner once in a while, maybe an evening on the porch with good friends, maybe an afternoon with family.

He also reminds us that it's okay to practice the "no". You don't have to take care of everyone who needs help, especially if it's creating hardship for you. Generosity to a fault serves no one, and creates dependence.
