THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! WHAT A GREAT WEEK!!!!

Our 63-year buffet deal was a huge hit, and we appreciate each one of you for coming to visit!!

Offering the buffet for $6.30 was something we have wanted to do all year. Prices are going UP everywhere, including gas and diesel. These increases affect all of us and we just wanted to pass along some happiness.

Thank you for your show of support for this event! I will gently talk Hallie in to doing it again in the future! In the meantime, our next 63rd anniversary special is in October!!

October 27th - with free biscuit and gravy!

November - 26th - Thanksgiving Day - $2.50 Buffet with turkey, ham and all the fixings!! Yes - $2.50!!! 11am - 3pm or until everyone is fed!!

Dec 6th - Pearl Harbor Day - Veterans & active military eat FREE!!! (Yes, we know that Pearl Harbor Day is Dec 7, but we are closed on Mondays! Moving to Sunday means BOTH restaurants get to participate!)

Dec 24th - Biscuit House is open for breakfast and will also offer $5 take home Christmas Dinners - turkey & dressing and the fixin's!

Celebrating 63 years of Windy Hollow! Since 1963, we’ve been serving great folks and to celebrate, our buffet is $6.30!!!

Friday breakfast all day plus lunch added at 11 - today is CATFISH, meatloaf, chicken wings and chicken tenders!! Plus 6 great sides/veggies including fried green tomatoes!!

Plus at lunch there’s a salad bar and dessert is included!!

Open 7am-2pm on Emory Dr!! Next to Wesleyan Park Plaza!

Breakfast and lunch buffet for just $6.30 through Friday Sept 18!

It’s been so much fun this week celebrating 63 years of Windy Hollow! Fun until someone asks me if I have been around all 63 years!! And no, I haven’t but I’ve seen a lot of them!!!

I am so proud of the work my family has done at Windy Hollow. And all the great memories made at Windy Hollow and at Miller Lakes!!

It seems most everyone has a Windy Hollow Story. I love sharing mine and my family's stories!! I also LOVE hearing your stories!!

One of several favorites that i have heard over the past few years was while I was talking to a grandmother about her spending lots of Saturdays at Windy Hollow swim lake back in the 60's and 70's! She proceeded to tell me that she finally got up the courage to climb up the slide steps and actually go down the giant slide!!!

Did you go down the slide?

At the tender age of 11, I only climbed up about 1/2 way (or less!) before the sway stopped me. So, this story intrigued me. Between us, we must have made it a big deal because as I watched the young man - maybe 12 years old - he didn't seem too impressed. Honestly, why would you be that you grandmother climbed a slide and went down it. Sounds simple.

I told him you just had to see it to understand the craziness of her adventures!!

I went looking for this photo as it really puts into perspective the size of the slide. Just ignore that the slide appears to be broken!!! 😉 The truck is an R.C. Bratcher welding truck. Not sure who drew the short straw, but I am sure that was fun to build and maintain!

I took the photo to the young man and said, "This is the slide she went down!!". Well, this was all that was needed for him to exclaim, "GRANDMA, YOU WENT DOWN THAT!!!" She was an instant hero!

THIS WEEK ONLY! BUFFET $6.30 - ALL DAY!! 7AM - 2PM - Celebrate 63 years with us!!

Lunch is added at 11am! It includes breakfast PLUS a salad bar, additional dessert and fried green tomatoes! Breakfast at lunch includes bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and apples.

Tuesday - Meatloaf, BBQ chicken nuggets, pulled pork and Salisbury steak plus sides!

Wednesday- Meatloaf, chicken nuggets, chicken livers and pasta plus sides!

Thursday- Meatloaf, chicken tenders, BBQ pork, Chef's choice and sides!!

Friday- Meatloaf, CATFISH, chicken tenders and shrimp and sides!!!

$6.30 Tuesday - Friday, Sept 15-18th ONLY! Tax, tip and drink are extra.

*Buffet items are while they last and maybe be substituted as needed.
