Hi, I’m Cassi, the heart behind Kate James. ❤️
For years, I dedicated my life to caring for others through a career in nursing. It was a profession that taught me compassion, service, and the importance of making people feel seen and valued. But deep down, I also had another passion—creating beautiful spaces, finding meaningful gifts, and helping people celebrate life’s special moments.
That passion led me to Kate James.
Owning this store has allowed me to rediscover a part of myself that had been waiting to shine. Every item you see has been thoughtfully chosen with the hope that it brings joy, comfort, or a smile to someone else’s day. Whether you’re shopping for a birthday, a wedding, a holiday, or simply treating yourself, I want every visit to feel personal and welcoming.
At Kate James, we believe the best gifts tell a story, and so does our shop. My children Harper KATE and Collin JAMES became the name behind this little dream of mine, and made it more than a gift shop, we’re a place where community, kindness, and meaningful connections come together.
