How cool is this! Just in a British No2Mk1 pistol which has all the hallmarks of a bring back (war souvenir) pistol. Still has all of its original as issued parts, no added import marks or country of origin stamp. All guns imported into our country must be origin marked and after 1968 importer marked. British guns that were surpluses out or sold off to civilian markets must be proof tested in one of their proof houses and thus marked which this gun does not have. This first model has never been updated to later patterns as most were as improvements came to the design. The only replaced parts are the grips from wood ( which they were worried about chemical gas impregnating the wood) or damaged and replaced with Bakelite grips A real survivor in great condition!
