From “vintage flower cookie jar” to a catalog-confirmed identification.

This is a Bartlett-Collins No. 1595 Primrose hand-painted cookie jar, documented in the company’s January 1952 catalog.

We found plenty of examples attributed simply to Bartlett-Collins—and others with incomplete or questionable identifications—but the original catalog gives us something much better: its actual name, Primrose.

Bartlett-Collins offered three documented hand-painted versions in this group: No. 1594 Crystal Fruit, No. 1595 Primrose, and No. 1596 Flower Garden.

Original manufacturer catalogs are one of our favorite research tools at Nexgen Vintage. A surviving catalog page can turn an educated attribution into documented history—and sometimes restore a product name that has nearly disappeared from the marketplace.

A set of six peach Whitehall iced tea glasses found a new home just two hours after we listed them. 🍑

Made by Indiana Glass and sold under the Colony name, they pair a soft peach color with a textured cube design and feet. It’s easy to see why this set caught someone’s eye so quickly.

Keep an eye on Nexgen Vintage for the next vintage glass find.

This isn’t your ordinary fall pumpkin. 🎃✨ Individually handcrafted by an art-glass maker associated with the Ohio Glass Museum, its flowing layers of green, amber, black and white make it completely one of a kind.

Would you display it only for fall—or keep it out all year?

This beautiful green carnival glass centerpiece bowl is loaded with character—from the dramatic openwork rim and rich green glass to the flashes of gold, amber, and iridescent color that change as the light moves across it.

Pieces like this are why vintage glass never gets boring. The design, color, and craftsmanship can turn something made decades ago into a statement piece that still looks incredible in a modern home.

Would this one make it into your collection?

This little Scottie has a much bigger story than you might expect.

Made for theDegenhart Crystal Art Glass Museum in Cambridge, Ohio, this covered Scottie dish carries the distinctive D-in-a-heart mark associated with Degenhart glass. The company became known for producing colorful pressed glass collectibles in the tradition of Ohio’s rich glassmaking industry.

Animal covered dishes have become increasingly popular with collectors, and pieces like this combine several things we love: American glassmaking history, bold color, whimsical design, and a recognizable maker’s mark.

Sometimes the best vintage finds aren’t just decorative—they’re a small piece of American manufacturing history.
