The amazing artist Marilena Mexi | Fantasy Art shared her version of the Song of the Sirens segment of Odysseus’ journey home.
You can buy her original piece on the Historiart website and check it out in person until Sunday evening at Michael Cacoyannis.
Marilena Mexi | Fantasy Art said about her piece “This illustration is inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, a work that has fascinated me since childhood, when I first read it and was especially captivated by the scene of the Sirens. I would often imagine how these mythical beings might look, allowing my imagination to shape their form and presence. Through this piece, I wanted to bring that early sense of wonder to life and explore the timeless allure and danger of their song.“
