⭐️Come ask an artist on Saturday August 22nd! Have you seen the magical paintings by collective member Tom Watson? Ask him about his background and what inspires him to paint the way he does. Gallery spaces open tomorrow at noon, and “Ask An Artist”, with chat host Jenny Stegemoeller, starts at 1pm.

⭐️Come see the collective member showcase, “We, Us, Ours” and the “CounterPop” exhibition; both on display now until September 5th!

⭐️Submit before Sunday September 27th (11:59CST) for “Beautifully Scary IV”. Submissions open to all conceptual ideas of how scary could be absolutely beautiful. How does an artist show what is lovely, profound or meaningful about the deep dark parts of our world? Uniquely personal and serious social topics could have a place in this juried exhibition. ⭐️This fourth annual “Beautifully Scary” exhibition will be held on Saturday October 17th. Come participate in your own beautifully scary way, doors open at 6pm. Awards will be at 7:30PM. Stay tuned…Special awards & guest judge soon to be announced!

Today in the gallery spaces; “CounterPop” and “We, Us, Ours” on view from noon to 4pm!

“CounterPop”, created & curated by collective member Jenny Stegemoeller, is an exhibition celebrating the ideas of counter-culture.

“We, Us, Ours” is an exploration of identity for the 123 collective members. Come meet collective member Tom Watson, who is painting in the studio today, and see his magnificent work on display.

Say Art Studios & Galleries has a lot to see and do on Saturdays in August! Plus, we are already planning for the coming spooky season too.

The Collective Members will be showing off their artwork under brand new gallery lights in the gallery. Come see their amazing work on display and highlighted beautifully in their individual spaces and in the member showcase. “We, Us, Ours” is on display until September 5th.

Nellasaura Art and Blysful Art are giving demos on Saturday, August 1st starting at 1PM! Come see them making art magic and talk with them about their process.

🌷It was a night full of fun, love and laughter at the epically hot drag show of 2026 at Say Art Studios & Galleries. It was definitely epic and hot! Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the heat coming from the stage. Oh, and the weather was pretty …warm… too. The Gallery at 119, The Collective at 123 and the Courtyard was full of such great vibes - thanks to the art-goers, artists and performers!

⭐️Congratulations to our award winners: Natalie Welborn, Alyssa Higby, and who each took home a special award from “CounterPop”creator & curator Jenny Stegemoeller. Thank you to our performers, Stephanie Six Trombones Dani Wilson and who brought the cool to the heat (IF anyone has photos of the night - please post in the comments!) To those special people who showed up to support - many emotional thank yous to each of you. Wow the support this art community gives to one another is really neat! The night was a blur. So much of a blur I didn’t take any photos with my camera of the artists with their art until after it was all over. If you have a photo of yourself with your art please post below. If I forgot to take your photo I am so sorry - next time! Come back for a visit on a Saturday in August!

The gallery will be open for “CounterPop” viewing from noon to 4pm on Saturdays or by appointment. The members of The Collective at 123 will be in the gallery too on Saturdays with the showcase “We, Us, Ours” currently on view.
