It’s Encampment Weekend at Fort Massac so that’s where we spent the morning with our entire fifth grade and MANY OTHER schools and parents…

Going from the 90s to the 50s temp wise from yesterday to today was quite the culture shock & intermittent sprinkles to top, but I think it’s safe to say a fun day was had by most if not all! 💗💗

If you’ve never been, it’s worth the visit, so now you’ve got plans for tomorrow if you were looking for something to do…and get you some Kettle Corn, rock candy, honey sticks, Chicken & Dumplings, and whatever else your little heart desires…Oh and peep 👀 the custom Horseshoe!!! It was only $8!! Lots of fun to be had!

Thanks RIS for sharing your kiddos!

Tonight, we have a fresh candle 🕯️ that has been lit for the first time in honor of infant and pregnancy loss, for my sweet friend, Kalee, having lost her precious River, for my sweet friend, Jennifer, having lost her sweet Jordan, and for a special family whose name doesn’t have to be known. For each and every Momma, Daddy, Grandparents, and beyond that anticipated and imagined a long life with their loved one that never came. Tonight, we pause to mourn with you and to seek healing on your behalf from the Healer Himself. You are loved and your sweet baby rests in the arms of the Savior, waiting on you.
