Reason #400 why we love the Murray Downtown Farmers Market ❤️ 📸

Back at the beginning of the summer, a local photographer stopped by the market and asked if she could take a few photos of our booth. Of course, we didn’t mind at all!

Fast forward to last Saturday, and that same photographer, Teresa, showed up with a framed piece of art for our employee, Sara. The photo she captured featured Sara’s Disney tattoo sleeve as she was picking up horticulture beans for a customer. Teresa had thoughtfully titled the piece, Alice, and shared that it had even been displayed in an art show!

There are so many reasons we love being part of this market, but one of the biggest is the incredible people we’ve met along the way. We are constantly surrounded by creative, thoughtful, and supportive customers who make the Murray Farmers Market such a special place.

Thank you, Teresa, for your talent, kindness, and for turning an everyday market moment into something truly memorable. ❤️

Did you know that behind the scenes, we also raise Angus cattle? 🐮

Like many farm families, we keep a close eye on policies that impact agriculture. Trump recently announced a plan to temporarily increase beef imports in an effort to lower beef prices for consumers, a move that has sparked debate among cattle producers across the country. Many ranchers are concerned about what increased imports could mean for American cattle operations and the long-term health of the U.S. beef industry.
