What. A. Day! 🥹
The grand opening surpassed anything I could have ever dreamed up.
It’s one thing to have something you’re personally passionate about, but to bring that passion to a community you love so much and have it be so embraced…is the best feeling ever.
I think the best part of all of this so far has been the people I’ve gotten to meet along the way.
Doing the farmers markets this summer gave me a chance to gauge the community’s interest in this crazy little idea, figure out what products people actually wanted, and (probably most importantly) make some really great friendships with fellow vendors. Some of those same people showed up today to support us, and that meant SO much. 🥹
We had Kwuf 1061 broadcasting live, Sarah Scott doing chair massages, Carol making reusable tote bags out of old T-shirts, Rita & Kris outside with all their wonderful Ludwig & Tillie handmade goods, and CS Ranch with beautiful fresh-cut flowers grown right here in Pagosa.
Christa Chagra was here with Anthro Evolve Coop to meet everyone and show you how to shop more sustainably and ethically, and Lida with Finn & Loo brought her amazing beef and bison tallow products.
…and let’s not forget Justin Treptow on the grill, keeping everyone fed with burgers and dogs! ❤️
