I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who have been so supportive and have been sending me messages about when we are going to reopen. I want to share this update with you, although it has taken longer than I could have imagined we are working on getting cards back to Pahrump. Keep your eyes here for announcements as we get closer and closer to getting something done. Initially it will not be a full blown store but we are working on it. In the meantime I’ll be coming to town and I look forward to seeing all of you as we grow to being back where we were. The people of Pahrump are the best and there’s no place I’d rather be doing cards than here. Regards, Ernie

An important update to our friends:

Behind the scenes there have been some internal company changes that in the short term will affect the store. Pahrump Sports Cards will be moving to a new location. The building at 51 Emery street has been sold and on this Saturday April 18th the store at 51 Emery will close down for inventory and to prepare for the move. We are working on moving into one of multiple locations that we are currently looking at to be our future home.

In the interim we need to take a complete stock of inventory, finalize a deal for a new home then move all display cases, inventory, shelving and POS systems from one location to another. As of right now we do not have a definitive date or location for the move to be complete. This all happened very suddenly and is as much of a surprise to us as it is to you, and we are working on this very hard to complete this as quickly as possible.

This has nothing to do with how well the store has been doing as it has (thanks to all of you) far exceeded our expectations and sales goals. We look forward to growing on that as well in the near future.

The vision has always been and continues to be to provide a high quality store, an inviting environment and a place for collectors to pursue their passion at a reasonable price.

If you currently have a Beckett Authentication or PSA submission with us, rest assured that nothing will change. The phone number remains the same as always and as soon as your submission arrives we will contact you and arrange for you to pick up your submissions. Please understand that because we will not be where the phone is at all times (due to moving display cases etc) you may have to leave a message. We will call you back as soon as we can.

We understand that this is a shorter term inconvenience, but we look at this as an opportunity to serve you better. We hope to be able to add additional staff and to service our customers 7 days a week and be more centrally located at the same time.

In the meantime between now and Saturday, stop by the store. We will be running specials all week. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to the new and improved Pahrump Sports Cards, we couldn’t ask for a better community than those who have embraced our store!
