My idea of luxury has never been about everything being new or perfect.

Some things are just better with a little history.

After years of buying and selling antiques, there are certain pieces I’ll choose old over new every single time. Dining tables, cabinets, dressers, benches and coffee tables — give me the worn edges, imperfect finishes and signs of a life well lived.

Of course, your entire home doesn’t need to be antique. But the pieces that anchor a room? Those are the ones I want to have a story.
