When Should You Replace Your Brake Pads?

Your brakes are your bike’s most important safety feature—but brake pads don’t last forever.

Here are a few signs it’s time for new ones:

🛑 Squealing or grinding when braking
🛑 Reduced stopping power
🛑 Pads look thin (less than 2–3 mm of material)
🛑 Grooves or wear indicators have disappeared

A quick brake inspection can make all the difference, especially if you’re riding Palm Coast’s trails regularly.
