Katze, our cat in the hat, who never left Ben’s side when he was sick, smooshy face sleeper, puzzler extraordinaire, sewing helper who lived dangerously close to a needle, hot iron or rotary cutter, and pretty calico girl went peacefully today after almost 18 years on this planet.

Did you know that if you gather 4-8 friends who want to learn to sew or make something in particular, I’ll find a day that works with your schedule for a special group class?

We can meet even meet in the days the shop is closed, like Sundays or Mondays! Moms and kids most definitely welcome too. Let me know and I’ll create a class just specifically for you and your friends.

This group of friends learned how to make raw-edge applique zippered pouches on a Sunday Afternoon. No need to bring sewing machines. We use our class machine. 🧵💗🧵💗🧵

Can you find the FireGlow dragon hidden in my collage quilt?!

Hiding unexpected items in all my collage quilts is my favorite!

I’m making more kits, adding more classes, and constantly hunting for strange things to use for fabric collaging. If you haven’t tried this technique before, you totally should!! It’s super fun, low pressure and you don’t even need a sewing machine unless you want to turn it into a quilt later.
