He launched Just Fabulous Home & the Assouline Boutique behind the flagship store in 2025. Located at the gateway to Palm Springs' Uptown Art and Design District, Just Fabulous is an upscale gift boutique and book store catering to the local community, as well as weekenders and tourists from around the world. Celebrating our 15th year, Just Fabulous is honored to have been voted "Best of the Best" by Palm Springs Life Magazine readers. Clients often tell us that they consider Just Fabulous to be a "Palm Springs Institution" and "Must Visit Destination" when hosting visitors. Stephen Monkarsh, Founder and CEO, personally curates a wide array of merchandise to suit everyone's needs -- including fabulous coffee table books, limited edition photography and art work, signature home decor, Mid-Century focused gifts and books, candles, greeting cards. Just Fabulous also offers a special section devoted just to Kids and Pets too! Popular brands include Nest Fragrances, Sunnylife, Taschen Books, Urban Apothecary, Ortigia, Rizzoli, and many others. Just Fabulous is known for special events and celebrity book signings too! Past guests include Jackie Collins, Anne Rice, Lily Tomlin, Bob Mackie, Barbara Sinatra, Dionne Warwick, Tippi Hedrin, Linda Gray, Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Geri Jewell, Greg Gorman, Elaine Paige, Stefanie Powers, Michael York, Adrienne Barbeau, Leslie Jordan and legendary photographer Julius Shulman to name a few.
