I don’t think the words “genius”, “brilliant” or “treasure” are sufficient to describe Canadian Actress/Comedienne Catherine O’Hara who passed today. As a kid growing up in Toronto I became a fan of hers from the very first Season of SCTV in 1977. I probably know every line of every character she created on that show…most notably “Lola Heatherton”. It might have been “kismet” or luck that allowed me to work on the “Beetlejuice” Animated Series in 1988/89 and have a hand in designing “Delia Deetz”. I never missed a movie or Series (Six Feet Under/Schitt’s Creek, etc) she appeared in. Her performances & the laughter she gave us will live on. My condolences go out to her Husband, children, siblings & friends. RIP 🇨🇦🎭📺🎬🎞️📽️⭐️🙌💖
