Fall is the time to tuck in a nice warm craft room and start creating. This year I have bitten off a big project I am so excited about but also wow it is the bigest thing I have ever committed to. I am entering into a wearable art show 4/18/26 and have yarn to spin and dye. Fabric to weave and garmets to sew. Let’s see how many “looks” I can get done. I have two beautiful ladies who have tentatively agreed to be my models. Lets see how the trip goes! Color inspiration pictures from our trip.

FB just told me they are going to shut down this page unless I jump throug a bunch of hoops to prove that this is my intellectual property.

I told them that I have not tried to build a business on this platform because of this problem of theirs and to shut it down it they want. So then they asked me to spend money to advertise.

If you do not see me anymore on here that is why. I will be posting my work on a new Instagram page.

Have been enjoying my new loom so much. I have several classes coming up at Fiber N Ice we are doing a spinning wheel class next Saturday then there is a addi knitting machine class hust the simple stuff cast on and knit a hat how to knit flat and then how to rib nothing really advanced. There are a peg loom class and a ridged heddle weaving classes in the works. And on Feb 10th there is the knitting machine class here in the studio. That one will be just how to make a hat flat. I think I bit off a lot but it will be fun.

We have a busy schedule coming up this next few months I will be teaching at both Fiber N Ice and my home studio. First is Jan 27th at Fiber N Ice a beginning spinning wheel class: learning speed control, drafting and setting the tention and picking your fleece amoung other things.

The weft of this weaving is made with hand spun yarn.

So excited to finally have found the loom I have wanted for 2 years since I took a Saori class at Saff in Ashville NC Oct of ‘21.

Had my first class at Fiber N Ice last Sunday and it was such fun we have decided to have a class each month I am home!

Such a busy December. Tomorrow in Girdwood and then 12/17 Sunday I will be here. Love the busy but the stress!!! Love to see any of you who are around Girdwood Bazaar tomorrow just come say hi.
