Once the 36 degreecut is made, saw the board in half at 90 degrees and bias it with one piece wider than the other. This will allow you to run the wider piece throug a router using a 60 degree bit to make a true 60 degree groove one you have equilateral triangles planing on the 57 30 form. Now Run the the piece that doesn't have the first angle cut. Ron it through flat at the saw set at 30 degrees. The blade height is important so that the cuts are of equal heights so they can be glued together.

Building a wooden roughing form on a table saw.

The challenge was to get the 57-58 degree cut since a table saw only goes to 45 degrees. This is solved by running the piece through vertically, not flat as pictured. The vertical piece is cut by setting the saw to cut 36 degrees. More to come.

I have 3 fly rods for sale at a $300.00 discount. They have not been fished nor are they seconds. The price is $700 each plus shipping. They will come with rod socks, but no tube. They have one tip. They are an 8ft 6 inch 6 wt., a 7ft. 6inch 5 wt. and a 7ft. 6 inch 4 wt.

Considering a big scaling back on my bamboo fly rod making. The passion is fading and the work required to make a rod, which takes 10 days is wearing on me. The profit to be made is only about $1,000. I will continue to hold rod making classes which is fun and I will make rods for repeating customers and people I consider as friends. The profits I have made and will continue to make trading Crypto will enable me to be financially solvent. Besides it is fun. Approximately 95% who trade Crypto lose money. I am lucky to be in the 5% who win. Trading Crypto requires a strong ability to tolerate volatility and risk. This would drive most people crazy. So that’s my plan which will give me much more time to enjoy life in my twilight years.
