An update on our home downtown.

After a ton of research, (and yes, a lot of heartbreak), we've decided that the building at 102 E 4th Street isn't going to be the space that becomes Joyful Noise. With some buildout realities I couldn't work around no matter how I tried, it looks like it's not the right long-term fit for what we're building. Thank you so much to the landlords and temporary neighbors for believing in my vision.

Here's what I know for sure: this does NOT change the vision. Not even a little.

So now I'm turning to you — because if there's one thing this community has already shown me, it's that you know this town better than ANY listing site does.

Here's what we're looking for:
🅿️ Adequate parking
🍰 A space zoned for food & events, (maybe even with an existing kitchen we can build a full bakery kitchen into)
📐 Around 3 - 4,000 sq ft
🤝 Open to buying OR long-term leasing — if the right landlord comes with it!

If a building, a lot, or even a "you know, there's this place..." comes to mind, message me. You might be the one who leads us to exactly where Joyful Noise is supposed to be.

Now for some reason THIS is the part that makes me feel a little vulnerable.

I can bring the work, the ideas, the creativity, the determination, and everything I know how to give- I can apply for bank loans and ask companies to buy in and continue to set aside money to move Joyful Noise forward.

But a dream this large was always going to require more than one source of funding.
And I believe this town is BUILT to buy in on it's community

That's where YOU come in.
Not everyone can write a check for $5,000 or $25,000—but almost everyone can put $5 behind a space that we ALL want to see come to life and thrive in our city.

So, if 5,000 people contribute $5, that $25,000 combines with what I’ve already set aside. It gives us the financial footing and community backing to show our landlords that Joyful Noise belongs here—and to officially begin the construction process.

And 5,000 people standing behind that $25,000 says something no single check can:

**Panama City wants this space.**

The Tiny Town Sponsorship gives companies a chance to get their name and branding in our "Lil Panama City"

This is the invitation for those who have the capacity to take on a larger role in building it and are looking for other types of ways to get involved.

Partnership opportunities include:

• Founding Wall sponsorships beginning at $500
• Community partnership tiers beginning at $2,500
• Tiny Town sponsorships beginning at $5,000
• Opportunities to contribute materials, services, skills, or other resources

These partnerships help move Joyful Noise toward professional plans, permits, construction, and the spaces that will eventually serve our community.

For the last several days, I’ve been showing you what I’m building—and why I believe Panama City needs it.

Now I’m looking for local businesses that want to help bring Lil Panama City to life.

A Tiny Town sponsorship isn’t simply your logo on a wall. Children will step into a space inspired by what your business contributes to our community, explore it through imaginative play, and grow up recognizing the name of a local company that chose to invest in them.

Tiny Town sponsorships begin at $5,000 and include a custom play space, prominent name and logo placement, and ongoing recognition as a founding partner of Joyful Noise.

I will be reaching out to businesses personally, but I’m sharing this publicly because I don’t want to assume who might feel connected to this—or miss the person who knows exactly who I need to meet.

Here’s what I know about celebrations:

The person working hardest to make the day feel special is often the one who gets to enjoy it the least.

They’re cleaning before, refilling trays during, and facing the mess afterward—while the milestone happens around them.

I want the event spaces at Joyful Noise to change that.

Somewhere you can create a beautiful birthday, shower, family gathering, or community event without rearranging your entire house. Somewhere the host can sit down, laugh, take pictures, and be fully present.

Because milestones do more than mark time. They bring people back to the same table and remind us to celebrate the lives we’re building together.

This room isn’t simply for throwing parties.

It’s for helping people actually experience the moments they worked so hard to create.

I am absolutely the person standing in the grocery aisle reading every label.

I do it for my daughter, and I do it for every batch I make through WildCrafted850 .

Once you start paying attention, it’s hard not to notice how often convenience comes with an ingredient list a mile long.

For me, food is one of the clearest ways I know to care for people. That’s why the kitchen and marketplace at Joyful Noise aren't simply add-ons to the play town—They're part of the heart of what I’m building.

I want somewhere you can meet a friend over good smoothie, sit down to a scratch-made lunch, grab a cinnamon roll, or take home the ingredients for dinner.

This isn’t about food being perfect. I make cinnamon rolls, for goodness’ sake.

It’s about being intentional—and knowing someone cared about what they were serving you.

I don’t want Joyful Noise to be a place where you have to arrive with a community in order to enjoy it.

I want it to be a place where you find one.

Community rarely forms in one big, perfect moment. It happens through ordinary things, repeated often enough.

You see a person for a second time. Your children begin playing without an introduction. Someone remembers your name. A hello becomes a real conversation—and eventually, unfamiliar faces become people you’re happy to see.

That is why Joyful Noise brings all of these things into ONE space.

They aren’t random features piled into a building. They are reasons for people to stay awhile, cross paths, and keep showing up.

And when I say **everyone**, I mean everyone.

The mom who arrives with six friends and the mom who doesn’t know anyone yet. Grandparents, military members, homeschool families, foster and adoptive families, longtime locals, and transplants who just unpacked their boxes.

Children who charge straight into the room—and children who need time to stand back and watch first.

You shouldn't have to fit a particular mold or already know someone to feel welcome.

One of my deepest hopes for Joyful Noise is that people may walk through the doors feeling alone—but, eventually, stop feeling like they are.
