☀️ Sunshine Ligustrum really lives up to its name!

This bright golden shrub is one of our favorites for adding year-round color to a landscape without having to rely on blooms.

A few fun facts:
🌿 More sun = brighter golden foliage
✂️ Easy to shape, hedge, or let grow naturally
☀️ Loves the heat and handles drought well once established
📏 Typically grows around 3–6 feet tall and wide
🌼 Its foliage is the main attraction — not the flowers
💛 Looks amazing paired with darker green plants for contrast

It’s tough, colorful, low-maintenance, and does really well in our Florida Panhandle landscapes.

Little Gem Magnolias! 🌿🤍 We love using these in landscapes, and here’s why!

They give you that classic Southern Magnolia look without getting quite as massive as a traditional Southern Magnolia. But don’t let the name fool you — Little Gems still get BIG! They can reach around 15-25 feet tall and 7–10 feet wide at maturity, so proper placement is important.

🌿 Evergreen — keeps its foliage year-round
🤍 Beautiful, fragrant white blooms
🌳 Typically 15-25’ tall and 7-10’ wide
☀️ Handles our Florida Panhandle heat well
🏡 Great for privacy, screening, or as a focal point
✂️ More manageable than a full-size Southern Magnolia

You still want to give these trees room to grow, but if you love the Magnolia look and don’t have space for a giant one, Little Gems are a great option!

This plant may look familiar, but it’s not a Saw Palmetto… it’s a Dwarf Palmetto! 🌿

So what’s the difference?

• Saw Palmetto – Wide, sprawling growth with saw-like teeth along the stems. Thrives in dry, sandy, well-drained soils and is incredibly drought tolerant once established.

• Dwarf Palmetto – More compact with a cleaner, upright appearance and no saw-like stems. Prefers moist, rich soils but is adaptable enough to grow in both wet and well-drained conditions, making it a versatile choice for many landscapes.

Both are Florida natives, low-maintenance, and tough—they just thrive in slightly different environments. Choosing the right one depends on your site conditions and the look you’re after.

Different Desert Roses at the nursery!! 🌸🌵

These are seriously some of the coolest plants — super low maintenance, tons of beautiful blooms, and definitely not something you see in every yard!

If you want something a little different, need the perfect potted plant for the patio, or swear you have a black thumb… a Desert Rose could be a great option! 😂

Just give them plenty of sun and bring them inside when the cold weather hits. That’s about it!
