Hello everyone! This is such an exciting endeavor and idea I have had for such a long time. The idea for The Cracked Spine mobile bookstore started with myself wishing we had a local spooky bookshop. Like those ones we read about with the ole shoppe keeper tending to the books. Which is still the goal one day for a brick and mortar location, but everything happens in time. For now, this is the best option and I feel a great way to be out in the community and reaching more folks! I plan to be at local markets, and do pop-ups at local small businesses.
You might be curious as to what genres I’ll be featuring. Well, since it will be a more limited space situation I will have to be a little picky. But that also means I need some advice from you as to what you want to see! Currently I plan to have a classics, book-tok, children’s, and romance section. I am looking to add 3 more sections. And please feel free to recommend any specific authors you want to see!
I will also be in the market to work with some local small businesses to feature things such as, book-ish stickers, bookmarks, and book/reading related shirts!
