Hi Everyone! Just a quick reminder that hunting season is just around the corner. Now is the time to get out your old hunting buddies, wipe them down, dust them off and prep them in anticipation of the upcoming season. Actions tend to gum up when left unattended in the safe for extended periods of time. Not sure what you need? We'll help you every step of the way. So if you're running low on solvent or patches, etc., we have a large selection of cleaning and maintenance supplies. (And if you're tired of trying to find missing parts after junior used your cleaning rod and brushes to clean out his hamster cage, not to worry, we have complete kits.) Of course, if you don't want to do it yourself or don't have the time we can do it for you. But now's the time to bring them in. We are already seeing an increase in the amount of gunsmithing coming into the shop for the fall season which means the turnaround time is getting longer. Currently, our turnaround time for most general cleaning is about two weeks or less. However, every year the same thing happens. People wait until the last minute to bring their guns in to be cleaned or checked out and we get slammed. Beat the rush and avoid the delays. Every day you wait is a day longer before you get it back. After all, you want your buddies to perform at their best when you need them. So bring them in now to get them checked out and cleaned up. We've got you covered.

So, if I were going to pack a pew-pew in my bug out bag I would consider a HiPoint C9. Yeah I know, there are a lot of cooler, sleeker, more efficient and certainly more costly pew-pews out there. (Can't use the G** word-it offends the wicked lizard overlords of FB land.) In fact almost everything looks better and is more costly, which is part of my point. In a bug out situation or simply just being prepared for one, you run the risk, for various reasons, of losing your pew-pew. The C9 is very cost effective, coming in around 200 clams. So if it gets lost, destroyed or stolen, you're not likely to cry about it. (after all, it was ugly-right?) It is also rugged and always performs. Yes, it is low capacity but extra mags are cheap and when push comes to shove in any defensive situation, if you need more than two rounds, you're in deep doo doo. In addition, it is like a multi-function tool. Resembling a brick with a trigger, it can be used as a club or even a hammer (make sure to unload it first though). Having touted all of this, we have acquired a few at the lowest price we have ever seen. Right now they are on sale for only 159 clams (you can save 10 bucks by bringing cash). Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there.This weekend is shaping up to be a great one. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! Wishing everyone a safe and memorable holiday. This is the time we remember those who have gone before us. A time to remember loved ones who have gone on before us and a time to honor their memories and sacrifices. A time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served and sacrificed so that we might still enjoy the freedoms this nation was founded upon. It's a time to reflect on the past and look forward to what the future brings. Let us also remember to give thanks to the One who made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we might have eternal life with Him.

Traditionally, it's a time for BBQ. Now what red blooded American doesn't like to do that? It's the ultimate celebration. You know, fire, raw meat, lighter fluid. What could go wrong?.... Anyway, have a wonderful weekend everyone...but keep the fire extinguishers handy!
