It is with great sadness & frustration that we have to share these Brighton earrings left the store today! Just knowing that someone walked through our door & we’re greeted with a kind welcome, however they had cruel intentions to steal from us, really crushes us. People have no consideration as to how these loses affect a small business. The earrings were $128, so that’s $128 lost towards payroll, rent, security system, inventory, and the enormous cost of running a small business.

I was moving displays and the shelf had just been emptied. Maddie found the empty card laying there around 1pm. The earrings had been removed & most likely stuck in someone pockets.

We can’t explain the feeling that hits us when something gets taken from Kajoma’s. It’s a sickening feeling in our hearts. Losing another Brighton piece is now forcing us to install security cameras. Another unplanned expense due to a loss. We are so sad to have to do this after 20 years

To the person who took the earrings, if you see this, please know you’re not welcome in Kajoma’s ever again. If you’d like to come back & pay for the earrings, we would greatly appreciate it. Just leave money in an envelope on the counter. No questions asked.

In the future security footage will be posted showing any theft and the authorities will be notified.
