Do you think you've got the best chili around? Now's your chance to prove it!
Join us on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 103 West Smith Street, Brookland, Arkansas, for the Hillbillies Chili Cook-Off, a fundraiser to help bring The Hillbillies feature film to life right here in Northeast Arkansas!

Whether you're a seasoned cook or just love making chili, we'd love to have you compete!
The competition is open to:
Individuals
Families
Restaurants
Businesses
Churches
Civic Organizations
Clubs
Anyone who wants to show off their chili!
Each team must prepare at least 2 gallons of chili.
🕛 Event Schedule
10:00 AM – Competitors arrive and begin preparing chili
11:30 AM – Chili ready for judging
12:00 PM – Festival opens, public tasting begins, and People's Choice voting starts
3:30 PM – People's Choice tasting ends
4:00 PM – Awards Ceremony
4:30 PM – Movies begin!
After the cook-off, stay and watch the Bloodshine short horror film—the first 15–20 minutes of the feature-length movie we're raising funds to complete, followed by more movies throughout the evening!

🌶️ $10 Chili Tasting Pass – Taste every chili entered and vote for your favorite to determine the People's Choice Champion!
🕹️ Level Up Arcade – $10 per person for unlimited gameplay until midnight!
