Wicks, Wax, and Suds I am a stay-at-home mom. I started making candles as a hobby and for my use only. I am always up for a challenge, and I love trying new things. Don't live close?

I found that it is very rewarding in so many ways, so I decided to offer my things to others. If I have a slab of wax, I am one happy lady. If you give me a chance, I promise you will not be disappointed. You will never buy a candle from Walmart again! I will ship it to you!!

When buying candles, do you prefer soy or paraffin? I've never tried beeswax, but I'm thinking about it. Have any of you ever burned a beeswax candle?

I've been a total slacker here and in my candle making. I need some new ideas. A challenge. Anything to make me sling wax again. I haven't even made Christmas candles. Any ideas?

As you all may or may not know, my 4 year old is a type 1 diabetic. He gets his tiny fingers poked an average of ?? times a day. How many times will he poked in a year? You have 24 hours to make your guess. I will award you with a candle of your choice or one of his beautiful tshirts. Go!

I spent 5-6 hours making this candle yesterday for a gift, and it is not what I wanted. Ugh. I wish if I were gonna mess one up, I'd make it a fragrance I like a bit better.
