I recently finished a very special portrait and wanted to share the story behind it.

This portrait was a Christmas gift for a couple who had to move into an assisted living home and couldn’t take their beloved dog with them. Saying goodbye was incredibly hard, and this painting became a warm, lasting memory of a dog who was truly part of their family.

Pets leave paw prints on our hearts forever. ❤️
