Lac Seul and The One and Little One go together like bacon and eggs. 🥓🍳 Chris Corless and Troy Zuelzke got 8 of their 9 fish on The One and Little One on a recent trip there.

Word on the street is they were sharing a cabin with couple guys. Who were trying to figure out their secret to success. Eventually Troy borrowed them one of his and only took about 20 casts and they scored a 49” and then went on to catch a few more as well.

While many folks love our bucktails because our patented clevis system allows you change blade sizes and colors with just one bait, the growling/grinding sound created by the square brass tubing on the inside of our clevis gives it “calling power” that really seems to shine in following situations:

🤮 Algae Blooms or Dirty/Stained Water

🌚 Night Fishing

🌊 High Winds

🎣 Highly Pressured Muskie Waters

Remember Tommy from last week’s post?

The guy whose buddy accidentally casted his favorite “The One” into oblivion… only for the replacement to arrive and produce a 46” four casts later? 😅

Well… we’d like to introduce you to the rest of the crew.

Meet Tommy, his wife Emma, and their golden retriever, Breezy. 🦮

Named after Breezy Point on Lake Vermilion, Breezy rarely misses a day on the water. Whether he’s riding sh***un while Tommy casts, supervising releases, cooling off with a swim between spots, or sneaking into the hero shots, he’s always right in the middle of the action.

Judging by the smiles (and the fish), we’d say Tommy and Emma have been putting The One and The Little One to good use this season… and Breezy seems to enjoy every minute of it. 👊

Something tells us this won’t be the last time you see these three around here. 🤔

If you’ve been thinking about trying The One or The Little One, there’s never been a better time. 👊

“He’s starting to believe.” 💪

One of the many reasons we named our bucktail The One was as a reference to Neo in The Matrix.

Our Squiddy Tubes also have a Matrix reference. Any guesses what it is? 👀

Hint: Their appearance in the movie isn’t all that different from our tubes… and in one scene they’re even nicknamed “Squiddies.”

Believe it or not, we’ve had three different anglers catch a musky on their very first cast with The One, and two of those fish measured 50 inches or better. (We’ve got the photos to prove it!)

One of the most common things we’ve heard from anglers fishing The One isn’t just that it catches fish… it’s that it becomes their confidence bait.

And confidence catches fish.

If you haven’t tried The One yet, here’s a little experiment…

Pick one up in the same (or similar) size and color as your current favorite bucktail and fish them head-to-head with a buddy in the boat.

See what happens. 👀

It’s how a lot of anglers throwing The One became believers. 😉

Tommy Ranney had been putting fish in the boat on The One… until his buddy launched it into the abyss. 😅

Here’s what Tommy sent us:

“Was catching on The One last week until my buddy casted it off and lost it. Been dead for me ever since.

New shipment arrived. 4 casts later. 46.”

Hard to argue with that kind of field test. 👊

Before the recent heat rolled in, this little guy earned Musky Commando status! 👊

Owen Kitzmann is only 9 years old, but he was throwin’ down with his dad Ryan the old-school way ( ), and he got two of these three nice ’skies in the figure-8 🤯 on our Angling Revolution Little Ones.

Ryan decided he needed to do a little modding to his bait in the back of the boat to keep pace with Owen, so he added one of our Whip Tail Blade Kits to the back end of his bait…

Boom. 💥 Ryan scored a dandy from the back of the boat.

We figured this was a good time to mention that we just restocked all of our Little Ones, Whip Tail Blade Kits, and most of our Squiddy Tube models. 😉

It’s a great time to stock up and get those hooks sharpened so they’re ready when the water cools back down!
