My carving “Tree Swing“ (posted below) will be displayed at the Parkersburg Art Center beginning this Sunday, July 31, at 1:00. It is part of the “The River” exhibit which is a juried art show of professional artists. Seventy artist‘s work will be displayed. It will be on display until September 17, 2022.

The following hand carved hearts were added to my jewelry for sale at the Cardinal Market store at Grand Central Mall in Vienna, WV. All of the hearts are about 1”. Three were made from Cardinal wood and one from Tugua nut. The Cardinal wood hearts a silver, gold, and copper chains. The Tugua nut heart has a silver chain. Enjoy!

Yesterday I posted a carving of a covered bridge and stated how happy I was about the texture achieved on the boards on the bridge. However, the photo didn’t show that detail. So I’m back today with a better picture. I hope you enjoy it. Kind regards,

This afternoon I hung the carving below at Cardinal Market at Grand Central Mall, Vienna, WV. It was completed November 7, 2017.
One of my favorite parts of this carving is the grain detail I was able to achieve on the boards on the bridge. It was carved in clear pine, colored with wood stains, and coated with polyurethane. All the carving is done by hand with wood chisels. No parts are carved separately and glue on to the piece. I hope all enjoy it. Please forward to friends. Kind regards to all
