I feel very disheartened to make this post during such hard times, but some people are taking advantage of this crisis while others are trying to make the best of it.
As we are preparing to start approximately 10,000 h**p seedlings for small farmers, our former employee, Justin Earhart, stole one of our brand new 1,000 watt LED grow lights from our facility that we were relying on to get this job done. This light is top of the line brand new technology and cost us $1,600.00. You can see him using his key to access the building, remove the light from our grow lab that only he and I have a key to, and loading the light into his Toyota 4Runner. Also, if you view his profile picture, he is proudly standing in front of the new light after we first purchased it, and references his work with us all over his social media accounts.
I've communicated Justin Earhart several times since we found out it was missing to find out what happened. After saying that it may have been accidentally moved to his "storage unit" and that he would need time to "check on it" I had to search through hours of video surveillance before finding this video of him stealing the light. I called him many times to try and arrange the return of the light and he has made every excuse why he can't do it before blocking my phone number and ending all communication. We were honestly blown away by his actions because he has been such a dedicated employee and has been a great asset to our company. After struggling to keep him employed as a master grower in this industry for the past two years, giving continuous pay increases for his work, we found out that he was padding his hours on his paychecks and stealing other equipment and materials from our facility before stealing our LED light for his own purposes.
Unfortunately, I was forced to file a police report against him and a warrant has been issued for his arrest for grand larceny. If you have any information leading to Justin Earhart's arrest, we are prepared to offer a modest reward of $100. You can contact the Parkersburg Police Department to report any information on his whereabouts. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide, we appreciate your help!
