I fell in love with the look of Cath Kidston designs when I was in England and her things seemed to be everywhere we went - even in the airport gift shops, too! I couldn’t have been more delighted when Kristen, our lovely rep for Riley Blake Designs , put this line in front of me for consideration. It is the cutest and cheeriest collection I’ve seen in a long time - it just feels like the very best birthday party you attended as a child. Full of happiness, this line is bound to work up into the most fun thing you’ll create - we think you’re going to love it!😊

Sunlight shone so beautifully this morning on our newest collection, Darling Buds of May, by Judy Newman of A Very Fine House. While Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18 asserts “Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,” quilters manage to find beauty and purpose in all seasons of life (and in most quilt shops, too). This collection is a breath of fresh air and we’re excited to see all that our lovely stashers create with it!

Heads up to all the KC quilt crawlers who have yet to make it to Parkville. This Saturday, the Parkville Days parade takes place on Main Street with access to Main Street blocked off from 9:00am until the end of the parade (around noon). Due to inaccessibility during the parade, Stashworthy Fabric will open after the parade ends on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you then!

It’s not often the case, but occasionally fabric arrives and is even more beautiful in person than when we first saw little images of it on our screens. Le Petit Bonheur from luccellomelbourne has just that lovely magic! Every print in this 32 piece collection seems worthy of inspiring a whole new quilt - it’s all just gorgeous! Thanks to Kim Hurley for designing such beauties for us to quilt.
