We love these little 5 series guitars tunes up a step and a half (a third). We have had two 5-18 models previously.

The history of the 5 series goes back to the early 1800's in Germany and was then called a Terz (tuned up a third) Guitar. Compsoers in Vienna like Diabelli, Giuliani, Mertz, and others wrote pieces for a Terz guitar in duet with a standard guitar. C.F. Martin brought that tradition with him in 1833.

Martin 1937 00-18 Shaded Top

We finally got this guitar ready for sale. It has been refinished back in 1994 by George's Music and had some neck work done. Also, a side crack repair. Jace did a great job on a neck reset and setup.
