Dear valued customers and vendors,

After 13 wonderful years of serving Parkville, Missouri, and the surrounding areas the Parkville Trading Post (also known as Old Town Sweets and Antiques) is passing the torch to Gary and Monica Swearingen. We will close our shop June 28, 2026 – it will reopen July 2, 2026, as Sugar Rabbit Mercantile.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, trust, and loyalty over the years. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you, and we have cherished the relationships we have built with our patrons and vendors. Thank you again for being such an important part of our family's journey.

We are thrilled that Sugar Rabbit Mercantile will share our commitment to high quality products and excellent customer service – we know you will be in great hands.

Also, a special thank you to John and Connie Yates for 13 years of dedication to the success of our business.
