Restoring a scrapped Martin Committee Model Trumpet - . #1 Bore .445 for a customer. Looks like at some point the bell's crook and tail was cut off the and replaced with a 1950's Getzen bell back part that goes from the receiver brace to the 1st valve casing. Not sure how well it will play. Will post finished project soon

Awesome tribute to our Native Americans!

I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.
