So proud of this young man. One of youngest operators here on site started out on work base learning with us for the welding field and was able to work with our mechanics and apply what he learned through the schools welding program and Chris was also introduced and trained on how to operate heavy equipment. Since Chris’s graduation he has became full time. Chris helps out all around the yard now operating heavy equipment driving one of our small dump trucks for residential deliveries and now is working on getting his CDL’s ( commercial drivers license). Keep up the great work PorkChop!

Wednesday Workforce Student Spotlight: Christopher Clark Hired at Chesapeake Landscape Following Internship!

Christopher Clark, a Welding Program student, gained hands-on experience through an internship with Chesapeake Landscape Materials. During his time with the company, Christopher was able to apply the skills he developed in CTE to a real-world work environment, build confidence on the job and learn more about career opportunities in the trades. His hard work and dedication led to a full-time position with Chesapeake Landscape Materials following graduation. Congratulations Christopher!
