✨ INDIGO 101: TAROT VS. ORACLE CARDS — WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? ✨

They’re often found side by side, used in readings, and beautifully illustrated—but Tarot and Oracle cards aren’t quite the same thing.

🔮 TAROT follows an established structure. A traditional deck contains 78 cards, divided into the Major and Minor Arcana. The cards share recognizable archetypes and symbolism, giving readers a framework for exploring questions, patterns, emotions, and possibilities.

🌙 ORACLE CARDS are much more flexible. There’s no required number of cards or universal structure. Each deck’s creator determines its theme, artwork, messages, and way of being used. This can make Oracle cards especially approachable for beginners.

So, which is better? Neither.

Some people love Tarot for its depth and structure. Others connect with the freedom and directness of Oracle. And many readers use both, sometimes even within the same session.

The cards don’t have to be about predicting your future. They can be explored as tools for reflection, intuition, conversation, and discovering a different perspective.

✨ INDIGO 101: HOW DO I CLEANSE MY CRYSTALS? ✨

Crystals can be beautiful objects, meaningful keepsakes, or part of a personal spiritual practice. Within crystal traditions, many people also choose to cleanse their stones as a way of releasing energy they believe the crystal may have picked up and resetting their intention. 💙

There’s no single “right” way to do it.

🌙 Moonlight — Place your crystals somewhere they can rest in gentle moonlight.

☀️ Sunlight — Some crystals can spend a short time in sunlight, but be careful—certain stones can fade with prolonged exposure.

🌿 Smoke — Pass your crystal through incense or cleansing smoke as part of a personal ritual.

🔔 Sound — Singing bowls, bells, chimes, or other sounds are commonly used in spiritual cleansing practices.

✨ Intention — Hold your crystal, pause, breathe, and consciously set an intention for how you’d like to work with it.

And remember: not every cleansing method is safe for every crystal. Some stones shouldn’t be soaked in water, exposed to salt, or left in direct sunlight. When in doubt, learn about the specific mineral first.
